I want to explore the options of Marketing, International Business and Engineering with a strong interest in designing and creating a better built environment for our ever changing world. I can only hope to help use my creativity and love of collaboration to help shape a world in which our home/ work life balance can be enhanced. I hope that by creating sustainable environments this will help create solutions for the current geo-political and environmental challenges we will be facing both locally and globally.
I think the summation of my academics, my love for sports and my willingness to have a good attitude, work hard and try and help others is what makes me a good recruit, teammate and I hope a good human.
I am different than a lot of recruits because of the High School I attend. We are required to participate in sports and as such I have been afforded the opportunity to be very involved in sports.
I have loved high jump from early on and by attending HPA, I have been able to expand on that and take it to another level. Track has been an incredible experience, qualifying for States in my first meet of the year as a freshman was a great kick off. For a little back ground, in middle school I started learning high jump on my own mostly with my mom's help at the high school mat during our middle school track practices and getting weekend coaching at the meets by one of our friends who is a pole vault coach who used to do high jump. He helped me a lot with high jump in those early days. I reached back out to him to help me and with his online coaching and I was able to hit the 5'1" mark taking 1st place in our regional meet. I attended camp at Colorado State University in the summer 2022. I was asked to do jump triple jump and long jump at the varsity high school level by the long jump/ triple jump coach Coach Meagan Kualii. I feel like if I can continue to work hard I know I can meet and exceed my goals. My goal is 5'8" by senior year. I PR'ed this spring (2024) at 5'4" and I am excited to see what the remainder of my 2024 outdoor season brings.
I was picked to play middle position in Volleyball on the varsity team. I had the amazing fortune of being a starter on the Varsity team my freshman year and coached by Coach Sharon Peterson in her last year of coaching. We won BIIF Championships and we were seeded for the first time in the schools history. We took 6th place at States and I received and honorable mention on the first teams list of players for our entire island. In the 2022 season I played Varsity middle position as a sophomore we took 6th at States. My Junior Year 2023 we won BIIF championships and placed 5th at States.
I also participated in pageants and was the Winner of the Miss Hawaii Island Teen USA 2022/23. I placed 1st Runner up Miss Hawaii Teen USA pageant held on Oahu in January 2023.
I also ride Horses and have participated in Equestrian jumping events since middle school.
I play beach volleyball and also Model professionally.
