Personal Statement
My name is Lizzie Egland and I'm starting my junior year at Genesee High School in Idaho. I am a sprinter and this past year, as a sophomore, I broke four school records in the 100 meter, (12.6) 200 meter, (25.89) SMR 800 and 4 x 200 meter relay. I will graduate in June of 2026. I have excellent grades and I want to run track in college. I am highly motivated and training year round for sprinting while maintaining my academic grades and being an active member of my community. I've been told I am very coachable and I am very passionate about succeeding in my sport at the college-level. I may study Agricultural Education or a related field in college.
