College can open up new opportunities and experiences for a young person. I am a hard worker and consistently progress in both school and sports. I am focused on improving myself in my academia and running. I'm looking to attend a university that is competitive in both academics and athletics. I would love to have the opportunity to run in college.
Academically, I studied hard throughout the year and achieved B honor status for the entire school year. My high grades in history class helped earn a seat in Honors History for the 2016-2017 upcoming school year.
I had a very successful 2016 outdoor track season and 2015 cross country season. In cross country my times countiuned to improve and I was able to qualify for state. I also earned MVP for the season.
During the 2015-2016 outdoor track season I worked hard to improve and contribute to my teammates success. I improved my times throughout the season in the 800M, 400M, 4x800 and the 4x400. I earned MVP for the track season. I also qualified for the state meet in the 4x400 relay and as an individual for the 800M.
Over the summer I ran for a track club called Trackmyspeed. There, I was able to bring my 400M time down. I was also a part of the 4x800 and 4x400 relays that qualified for the USATF Junior Olympics. At the Junior Olympics the 4x800 placed 1st and the 4x400 placed 13th.
