2023 SpotlightPersonal Statement
I am a very determined student athlete who is willing to take any criticism on any sport as an opportunity to learn and progress. I strive to always keep a good mentality no matter the circumstances. Junior season I hope to be throwing 130 feet in Discus and 31 feet in Shotput, by the end of my Senior season I hope to throw 150-160 feet in Discus and 35 feet in Shotput. I also push myself in academics, currently I am take six college credit classes and hoping my senior year to be taking a full load of college credit classes. I am thrilled to have made it this far and cant wait to see where my athletics and academics can take me next.

- I started swimming competitively at age 5. I have done club swimming through Elkhart Aquatics for my entire swimming career. I also swim for Elkhart High School during the regular high school swim season.

- My father is a head coach of track and field. When I was young, I would work out with his discus coach in the summers when Elkhart Summer Track was offered. Although swimming has been a major part of my life, I really enjoy throwing. So, I have chosen some of my P. E. classes to make sure I get proper weight training to be the best thrower that I can be.
