Hello, my name is Sable George I go to North White High School in Monon, Indiana. I started running in 5th grade, my older brother was in cross country at the time, and I wanted to be able to outrun him. He ended up quitting, but I stayed with it. In 7th grade I won conference, then I skipped my 8th grade year of middle school and jumped straight to being a freshman in high school. I was the top runner my freshman year, I won conference and went all the way to semi state. I was super determined but I didn't find running to be my favorite. My sophomore and junior year I made it to regionals, but my times were a lot slower, and I struggled a lot more. For track my junior year, I got two school records and was the top runner at my school for distance. My junior and senior year I attended the Adam State camp for altitude running. This is when I realized I should care for running. I loved being a part of my team and running with my girls, so I decided to stay and over the summer before my senior year I wanted to make something of running in my future. So, I trained and started paying more attention to how I was fueling my body. This year, my senior year, I've broken my schools record for cross country. I believe I am a strong runner; though I do not run in spikes which a lot of people say would make me much faster. I have many goals for the end of my season, one including finding the right college for me that I can learn and grow at.
