The highlight of my high school career so far was during freshman year when I qualified for Semi-State in Cross Country. There were many obstacles along the way. From the long hard workouts on a hot summer day to the anxious nerves before a big meet. But all those long hard workouts really helped out in the end though. They made me grow as a person and as a runner. They have helped me get to where I have gotten today.
The first time I became interested in cross country was when my older brother tried out in high school and I was in junior high. I did it mostly so I could see him more, but after a few days at practice I actually started to enjoyed it. My brother quit, and regrets it, but meanwhile I kept going and pushing more and more harder to beat that girl in front of me. Throughout my experience of Cross Country I have learned about what true team work is, how to commit and how to really put in the hard work. I am Looking for a school that will fit good for me athletically and academically. I believe that I will make a huge benefit to your team because of my hard-work ethic, my team-work skills, and my attitude/character. I know I have what it takes to make your team great!
