My collegiate goals are to successfully complete a degree plan in Nutrition with the aspirations to ultimately focus on sports nutrition and working with dedicated athletes to enhance performance and reduce injury. I am the consummate team builder and teammate, when my team is successful, I feel I am successful. My most important character trait is humility, without humility there is selfishness and not selflessness. I strive for excellence in everything I do from academics, athletics, my character, personal/social life, to making my bed. I am a National Honor Society member, Vice President of the South Knox Student Council, an active member of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes, as well as an active volunteer in the local community working with middle school athletic camps such as basketball and cross-country. My father provided me one of my most inspirational quotes that shapes my mantra, "We must all suffer one of two things: the pain of discipline or the pain of regret and disappointment" -Jim Rohn. The quote is a constant reminder for me to put hard work and discipline into perspective if I want to achieve excellence or I have no one else to blame except myself and lack of effort!
