My name is Jana and I will become 20 years old in december. I am a member of the Icelandic national team in track and field, heptathlon. I have competed both in World Youth Championship and European Youth Championship for my country. I will finish junior college 17th. of june 2016.
I have a great interest in coming to University in USA both for academic and athletic reasons. It would give me the opportunity to receive quality education. At the same time I can develop as a track and field athlete under the guidance of top coaches and athletic trainers.
At the moment I am finishing my fourth year in junior college (16-20 year old students)
I started training athletes at 2005 and started competing in 2005 when I was 9 years old.

I have competed in Iceland, NJCCE U23 (2014), European Cup of combined events (2014, Madeira), World youth championship 2013- Donetsk UKR, - Nordic match U20 (2013) Norway and Sweden 2012. Tbilisi Georgia (Europian national cup 2014) and much more.
In februar I got 1 place in the Icelandic championship age 20-22, in shot put and high jump
In 29th of May I got 1st place in the Icelandic Championship in Heptahlon with my personal best - 4853.
