Personal Statement
Hello! I'm Hannah Leitch from Australia, currently completing Year 11 (Junior year). I have been competing in track and field for 3 years, which I am predominately javelin trained. However, recently in the past 6 months, I found a passion for Heptathlon. I competed in my first heptathlon earlier this year in January and surprisingly with less than a month of training, I won the state title. I trained hard, pushed my body to extremes and made countless sacrifices which resulted in the most rewarded feeling of my life, placing 5th in Australia at the 2023 National Championships. I am the definition of "You can achieve what you set your mind to do". I am committed to pursuing my passion of track and field to achieve bigger titles and more PBs. I bring determination and enthusiasm to every training session and to the classroom and strive to be the best version of myself. I love to meet new people and encourage them in their sport and study as well. I believe I am a suitable fit to any team.
