Personal Statement

My name is Rihan Price. I am from a small island called Barbados but I am a girl with big dreams. I have a passion for athletics. Track and field is my freedom; when I train, tighten my track shoe laces and prepare my mind to execute my best on the track; I feel most at peace and happy. My joy lies with the e 400-meter hurdle event. Prior competing the 400-meter hurdles, I was a 100-meter sprint hurdler. My overall goals are to become the best 400-meter female hurdler in my country and to shine in every event I am entered in, knowing it did of my best. I intend to study Business Management. Academics are very important to me, so I make it my priority to balance my studies and sport. I am a hard working and determined individual.

My Motto- If you mentally defeat yourself, you are defeated physically.
