4x400m Anchor Leg...Personal Statement
I've been doing track since I was 12 years old and since then, I train 14 hours a week. I am incredibly hard working and possess excellent time management skills; having ensured that I am always at the top of the game in my academics, extra curriculars and sport.
I have served a magnitude of leadership positions throughout my life which have enabled me to develop good people's skills, event coordination skills and to be a role model to inspire other students to take up a sport or better their performance in the sport that they are already apart of.
Having had won 12 relay medals and been apart of numerous performing arts events, I find great enjoyment in working in a team to produce the best possible outcome in whatever it may be that we do together.

- [100m-1st place, 200m-1st place, 400m-1st place; won age-group champion award] Brought my relay team from 4th to 3rd in the 4x100m and from 3rd to 2nd in the 4x400m. Being a house and overall sports captain, I single-handedly coordinated the trials and was in charge of marshalling the athletes. I also trained by house's athletes (freshmen to senior) every morning at 5:30am at my school's ground for two weeks leading up to the meet and taught them how to do the crouch start and baton exchanges. My house won the championship cup.

- Got the fastest qualifying times in the 4x400m and the 4x100m. Won the 4x400m, where I anchored my team and took us from 3rd to 1st with a 30m lead. Could not run the 4x100m because of an injured teammate.

- 3/05/20 to 3/06/20
- This is similar to a regional meet held in the US. I came 2nd in the 400m. I anchored my team in the 4x400m and took us from 2nd to 1st, establishing a new meet record. I ran the 3rd leg of the 4x100m, where we placed 3rd.

- Inter-International Schools Athletics Meet 2020
- 2/14/20 to 2/16/20
- Ran the 800m and placed 4th however I broke the meet record. Came 1st in the 4x400m and established a new meet record. Brought my team from 5th to 3rd in the 4x100m. Achieved certificates in all three events for passing the merit level standard. I got the overall fastest split in the 4x400m and the fastest split in the 4x100m in my team. I also got a 40m lead in the 4x400m.

- I brought my team from 4th to 1st in the 4x400m, where we broke the previous record. I came 3rd in my leg of the 4x100m. I came 4th in the 400m and the 200m. I achieved the merit standards for the 100m, 200m and 400m.
