Personal Statement
My name is Ines Paniagua Antunez, I am 17 years old and I live in Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico. I just finished my first year in High School, and then I will start my sophomore year. It is because, between kindergarten and primary school, I studied a year of only the English language and their culture in a private school named Instituto Philadelphia to improve all the areas of my English knowledge.
Now I am studying in the school named Instituto Miguel Angel de Occidente. I am in the top 5 students with the best grades of my generation. I have practiced my English since I was a little girl, and now I also have learned French since my school teaches it.
Now for you to get to know me, I think I am very social and competitive, but in a good way. I love hanging out with my friends on the weekends or after training. I enjoy painting, drawing, reading, and doing stuff while I listen to music. My favorite hobbies are practicing sports, preparing for my competitions, and writing. I enjoy writing down my feelings and thoughts.
I also like going to school, it may sound like something you could say so teachers would like you, but I enjoy going to school, seeing my friends, doing pretty jobs, and learning something different every day.
I like to consider myself as a girl that is different from the rest, someone that appreciates herself by being different and doesn't have problems showing off who she is. Besides, I love challenges every time a new challenge comes to me. I know how to deal with it. I love the feeling of satisfaction when you complete it.
