Personal Statement
Growing up, I learnt that to be able to achieve whatever I wanted in life, I have to be a go-getter. Which is why I do not see pursuing my life long ambition to compete in the olympics and studying to become a seasoned Computer Scientist as a herculean task. My love for Track and euphoria of each win keeps me wanting more whilst the fulfillment I get when what seems like a simple idea in my head comes alive when I put my pencil to paper pushes me to want to do more.
However, to be able to achieve a good balance in both my academics and my sports I would like to be given the opportunity to attend a school that offers a competitive track program and has a solid academic record. I can be considered a competitive athlete with a good work ethic on and off the track. I am also very disciplined and focused.More importantly, I am a team player and I am physically and mentally prepared to put in the work that is expected of me.
