Personal Statement

Hi my name is Brianna Stennett. I am from Montego Bay, Jamaica where track and field is a traditional sport for everyone. I became very interested in track and field in my last year of high school, when I ran on the field with different athletes at my school and came second. Everyone encouraged me to join the team at my high school but unfortunately it was too late knowing that I would graduate soon. I am grateful for the opportunity to come to the United States of America to further my education but I want Track and Field to be a part of my future. Therefore, I am looking forward to pursuing my dream of becoming an athlete and finding the right college that fits me.
