Personal Statement
I constantly set myself challenging goals both in the classroom and on the track, my motivation being how hard I've worked to improve from where I was three years ago and how much further I know I can still go. As for academics, I've always been a competent student, staying on top of all my work and working hard to understand challenging concepts. On the track, I believe I have a coachable mannerism and mindset, willing to put in all my effort to assist in achieving both team and individual goals.
Originally, I wanted to study in the US post-high school. At the start of 2020 I got a foot injury and then, mainly due to COVID, I decided to continue my study and training at home. I have just completed my undergraduate degree at The University of Western Australia, where I studied a Bachelor of Commerce, majoring in Marketing and Sport Science. I am looking for the opportunity to complete Graduate education in the US, whilst competing track, I believe I have 2 years remaining of NCAA eligibility from this Fall semester.
This season I have been continuing to improve immensely, after three years of dedicated training to get back to and beyond where I was in 2019 and am seeing improvements with every meet.
Thank you for taking your time to read my profile and considering me as a potential recruit for your women's track & field team.
