Tanae Newry '17 Recruiting Profile

My goal competing in collegiate women's track and field is to make not only myself known but my country, breaking records and setting a high bar for my teammates and competitors.Having the heart of a champion win or lose would make me a great candidate for your team. I push myself to be better everyday what I set my mind to I will  get accomplished! This makes me different.I have a pure passion for the sport always did, at the age of 8 months I didn't make my first steps walking I ran across the room and have been running ever since. I was then nicknamed the roadrunner of the family. My character is built on the moral standard my parents instilled in me I know this makes me standout my friends always look up to me for advice or counsel.  As a Student and athlete I know how to balance my school life and athletic life  because they go hand in hand.
