Personal Statement

My name is Bayli Major. I am a student at St. Augustine's College in Nassau Bahamas and a member of Redline Athletics Track Club. I compete in the 100m, 200m, 400m, 100m hurdles,400m hurdles, Long Jump and Triple jump. Recently I competed in the 2023 Carifta Games where I received three medals, silver in Triple Jump, Silver in 4x100 and bronze in 4x400 and in the 2024 Carifta Games where I placed 5th in triple jump and my team received a bronze in the 4x400m relay.

My ultimate goal is to leverage my athletic abilities to secure a scholarship for further education. My aim is to continue training diligently to excel in chosen sports events. With a track record of top finishes in both Bahamian and American meets, I hope to stand out as a hardworking and dedicated athlete.

My work ethics and commitment to excellence make me a valuable asset for any college team. If given the opportunity, I will not disappoint and will continue to strive for success both academically and athletically.
