Personal Statement
UK Gold Medalist (HJ) I have always had that competitive streak, being the youngest of 3 with siblings that are over achievers I am accustom to pushing that little extra on just about everything. I took to sport early, playing netball and running cross country before I found my passion. I am a jumper, fascinated by the technical aspects of my event alongside the power, strength and competitive nature necessary to excel. I am an experienced athlete competing for the last 6 years nationally in my discipline. My PB at high jump is currently 1.75m and I want to go higher, it brought me a gold medal representing England at the schools international (SIAB) and most of all it made me proud to do so well in a team of talented athletes. It was like being at home. I aspire to be a champion athlete yet I plan to be a physician and practice medicine. I am setting the bar high In Sport and in my goals for higher education; My results in both brings me confidence that I have the ability. It comes down to hard work, dedication and how much I want it.
A little about me as a person. I work hard, I maintain close friendships and I love my family. My mum and dad divorced years ago, and I consider myself lucky that I have great support from both of them and my extended family. My dad lives in San Diego and I spend time between the USA and the UK, with residency in California as a consequence Finding a great college, a wonderful coach and team is my #1 priority, well perhaps second to completing my final year and achieving my expected grades, but the goal I have by becoming a member of NCSA and on the books of Sporting Elite USA is to find a college right for me.
You can reach me on mailto: [email protected] or via the US number 415.466..5566. I look forward to talking more about me and getting to know you , the ethos of the team and how we can work together.
