Dejoie Sebastien '23 Recruiting Profile

Hi, my name is Dejoie Sebastien. I'm an American citizen that is currently living internationally in the British Virgin Islands. I started Track & Field when I entered the 7th Grade; I grew an interest for the sport because I was intrigued by the senior athletes that we're training on the track at the time like Chantel Malone. When I started, I fell in love with the sport and never saw myself stopping. My goals and aspirations are to be one of the best female jumpers in the world firstly competing on the collegiate level  before going pro. I am willing to make any necessary sacrifices to achieve that goal of course I work and train hard.  I always put my best foot forward during workouts, was never the type to cheat myself out of my own success and progression. I am always determined when I step foot on the track and always willing to learn new stuff, so I study the sport when I'm off the track. I can juggle the student-athlete life very well and it has never been a problem for me to excel in both areas simultaneously. I am looking forward to being your next top athlete.
