Personal Statement
The academic strengths of my future college will always come first. I want to express myself through architecture and design and create wonders for people around the world to admire and live in. Track and Field is a passion that pushes me to be a healthy and competitive athlete that is ready to set goals, achieve them and then push even further past those limits.
I am a jumper and I have always been. It pushes me out of my comfort zone continuously, and I know that I can only improve. I am highly teachable athlete that understands how to follow guidelines and truly listen to my coach's advice. I have a lot of grit when it comes to achieving my goals and I persevere to always push for the best results.
I am a strong leader that is always there to help someone if needed. I am the school house captain and take part in multiple other extra-curricular activities including; reporter of the school magazine, Operation Smile member and active volunteer, and also as one of the schools Maths tutors and co-coordinators.
I consider myself a Third Culture Kid. I come from Serbia but I was born in Montenegro and spent my life travelling from one country to the next. I spent my childhood in Italy and then moved to North Korea (because of my dad's job) for two years . Then I spent five years of my life living in the Philippines in an American school where I started my life as an athlete and I set the school high jump record. Now I am back again in Italy and I'm looking into the US as my next destination.
