Personal Statement

Hello, my name is Jasmin Gravenbeek and I started with track in August 2018. I'm a very motivated and hard working person especially due to my sportscareer in gymnastics prior to athletics where I used to train 24-30 hours a week as a Dutch Elite. Since I made the switch I fell in love with track and field. Especially sprint and long jump. After 7 months in track and field I even placed 3rd on the 60m indoor at the Dutch Nationals. Following that I made great progress and also had some great victories with the teams. Since then I knew I had the talent but I know the drive and motivation is even more important. Through a scholarship I would like to better myself in track and field but also for personal growth and widen my opportunities in the future. Due to me being a Dutch Elite I also had great experiences throughout Europe. With track and field  I try to attent as much as possible also in Germany and Belgium. To achieve all this I know I also need to work hard at school. I would like to go to a College/University that would fit me best achieving my goals.
