Personal Statement

Hello my name is Kaiah, I grew up in Sydney Australia. I attend The Hills Sports High School in Seven Hills. Since my early years, I've been deeply passionate about athletics, fostering my love for sports through basketball, track and field, and gym workouts. Striving for constant self-improvement, my free time is devoted to coaching younger athletes in basketball and track and field, as well as officiating basketball games at local and representative levels. Engaging actively in school events, I focus my efforts on studying, researching physiotherapy, and participating in recovery sessions to elevate my athletic performance. Academically, I am in subjects such as Science, Mathematics, English, Geography/History, Strength and Conditioning (Physiotherapy and Sports Coaching), Business, and the Talented Sports Program, where I contribute actively to track and field. Notably, I've proudly represented the school in both opens and under-15 basketball tournaments, leading the team as captain, I have also proudly represented my club, my state, and on one occasion my country in track and field and succeeded in improving my distances at these comps and also striving to medal in all 3 events, hammer, shot put and discus.

The reason I’m which I want to go to college to become a better athlete in all aspects of my sport and to have a higher education and to be able to train and compete at one of the highest schooling levels. My goals is to make the 2032 Brisbane Olympic Games to which I hope to compete shot put and hammer and hopefully if I keep getting better and pushing myself I hope to make discus too.
