My name is Kaiah Wong, and I am from Sydney, Australia. I attend The Hills Sports High School and currently compete in shot put, discus, and hammer, while also playing basketball at the highest level for my state.
I am the current Australian Champion in shot put and discus, with hammer as my third event focus. My long-term goal is to represent Australia at the 2032 Brisbane Olympic Games, competing in shot put, discus, and hammer.
Academically, I study Mathematics, English, Ancient History, Biology, Business, and Health & Movement Science. I have a strong interest in physiotherapy, psychology, and kinesiology, which support my commitment to athletic development.
I want to attend college in the United States to continue my academic growth while pursuing the sport I love at the highest level. College offers the opportunity to challenge myself against world-class athletes, while also gaining a quality education that will prepare me for life beyond sport. The chance to combine academics with elite training and competition motivates me to keep improving every day.
Note: In Australia, the school year runs from February to December. I will graduate in December 2026 and am available to begin college from January 2027.
