Personal Statement
Running has always been one of my primary passions, and it will be a honor to continue my cross country/track and field career at a collegiate level. I have made many valuable connections in the APAC region through competitions, and I really enjoy the long-lasting bonds that cross country and track and field meets are capable of creating between people. Also, as a student-athlete in one of the most academically rigorous international schools in China, I am fully confident that I will be able to successful integrate into a new team despite potential challenges of being an international student. Specifically, through interacting with diverse students from all over the world in my high school, I was equipped with vital skillsets such as communication and leadership which can be transferred into interacting with my teammates. Thus, I will be a great addition to the team!
