Personal Statement

Hi I'm Maisie Slaney,

I have been running since I was 12 years old and this is  something i am very passionate about. I love track as it brings out my competitive spirit, racing against others as well as beating my own PB.I also enjoy training with my fellow athletes, supporting and encouraging each other. I would describe myself as hard working, determined, enthusiastic and very competitive!I will put in 110% effort in everything I do and I am extremely serious about competing in track and definitely want to take it to the next level and compete at colligate level.

I would be a great asset to any team as I am very easily coachable, easy to get along with and work well under pressure. I want to find the perfect college that will push me to my limits and support me in succeeding in both track and academics. My college will be proud to have me as part of their team in every aspect of my college life. 

In school I work extremely hard to ensure my grades are at a consistently high level. With the goal that I have in mind to study in the USA at collegiate level I am very motivated and focussed to achieve the best that I can whilst putting in maximum effort. 

I want to make everyone proud, especially my parents as they are always supporting and encouraging me in school and athletics and are 100% behind my decision to study in the USA.
