Personal Statement

As you know I am a senior,  so far one of my greasiest highlights of my high school career was winning the North Scott cross country as a sophomore. In high school I have learned teamwork, commitment, hard working the most important thing I learned from my mom which is to not make mistakes. My mom and uncle made a mistake of not running in college so I do not want to make the same mistake. Something that is very important for me it’s to be close so my mom can come and watch. She has been there through everything. she is a single parent but she always make sure I have everything I need to do my sport and she makes sure I’m at practice on time. She has also taught me that you can do anything as long as you put your mind too it. As for colleges I am looking for a program that is not too far from home so my family can come support me. A place that will be a good fit for me athletically, and academically, and where I can do both of my passions which is cross country and track and field.

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
