Noelle Steines '25 Recruiting Profile

I can't wait to continue my running at the collegiate level and am driven to help my future XC team to participate in the National Championships, along with being an All-American someday! I am from a small town in Iowa and am ready to train in a place that has more choices to run and more competition to run with. You will not regret me joining your team. My ability to win consistently, especially when it matters the most, shows that I am hard-working and competitive. This also shows in my schooling, where I try to be the best I can with my 3.79 gpa. I am the second Iowa girl, first in the 5K cross country distance, to win 4 consecutive individual state titles. I have 8 state titles in track, not including the contribution of winning the team title in 2023. I pride myself in taking care of my mind, body and spirit. To care for my mind I journal, set intrinsic goals and enlist trusted adults for guidance. To keep my body strong I make sure I am fueling properly, staying hydrated and sleeping. My spirit renews by being outside, twirling my batons (I used to be a baton twirler) and going to my church youth group.
