Jenna Black '15 Recruiting Profile

I am currently a junior at Stanton County High School in Johnson, KS and will graduate in May of 2015.  I have participated in cross country and track since my 7th grade year. I started to really love running by the end of my seventh grade year and have kept at it since. My passion is running and I look to further my knowledge in this sport. This year I also started throwing the javelin and am really liking it.  I am undecided on a major at this time, however I am interested in journalism and possibly nutrition and wellness.

My goals are high and I strive everyday to achieve them:

• Run 11:24 or better in the 2 mile race by my senior year (School record)
• Continue to improve my mile time of 5:17
• Run sub 15min in a 4K race
• As I work to improve myself, I also strive to help my teammates do their best.
