I desire to be a college track and field athlete. I work hard during the season and the off season to better myself as a pole vaulter. I am striving to beat my own records to become a state champion, and eventually a college athlete. I was a competitive gymnast for 7 years and completed at level 8 and I was on the Kansas All State Team. In addition, I did competitive cheerleading for two years at level 6. Both years, my team got Worlds Bids. This background has given me a strong physical, and an even stronger mental ability to compete as a pole vaulter. I am currently highly active in various school activities and I am in advanced classes with a 4.0 GPA. In addition to competing on the varsity track team, I have been on the varsity cheer team for three years, the high school yearbook staff for one year, the high school choir for one year and was in the high school musical for one year. Based on all of the experiences above, I believe that I could be a strong addition to your team because I am hardworking, committed, and coach-able.
