I am from a very small town where we don’t have a track and have to practice at a school 30 minutes away 2-3 times a week. My school did not have a track team until I was a sophomore, before then I was running as an individual for my school since 7th grade. I always make sure to try and learn as much i can with the little amount of experience I get from my small school. I go to camps, talk to coaches, ask questions and drive an hour for my aau team just to learn more and be a better athlete. I know I have room for improvement and can be a better athlete with an amazing coach, I look forward to working hard and succeeding at the next level.
