Personal Statement
When I ran my first mile at 5 years old, I knew that I would become a great runner. Since then, I have worked on advancing my training and successfully balancing it with my other sports in which I also excel in (sailing, swimming, tennis, and cross country). I am a tenacious athlete and always try my best to drop my times and push through. I have maintained over a 4.0 GPA these past three years of high school and am ready to work to make the LHS Principal's List for the 4th year in a row. I am a hardworking student athlete that always has a goal in mind and always wants to bring out the best in me. I'm still looking for the right college and am ambitious about running at a competitive level, because I am an all-state athlete in all of my sports (track, tennis, swimming and cross country). I was recently awarded All-State and All-State Academic for the Division 2 Cross Country State Championships, All-State Academic for Divison 3 Swimming State Championships, the 2023 Heisman High School Scholarship School Winner and the All-Vernon Parish Girls Cross Country MVP!; and this year I am a the JROTC Battalion Commander.
