2020 HighlightsPersonal Statement
I have loved running from a young age. My mom says that when I was a toddler I would beg to get out of the stroller to run with her. My intro into sports came through gymnastics and soccer, but I began running in a girls on the run program in 5th grade. I still ran and played soccer until 7th grade when I started to focus on running as my sport.
I have run competitively through my schools since 7th grade. I have run in both Kansas and Louisiana because my dad is in the army and we move around. I have found that I can adapt well into different teams and different coaching styles. My goal is to run at a school that challenges me academically and will push me to the next level athletically.
