I am Kate O'Toole, a senior in high school from Massachusetts. From a young age, I have been a very self-motivated athlete in my extracurriculars of competitive dance, field hockey, and softball. Sophomore year, I decided I wanted to try track and field as my spring sport instead of softball. I immediately fell in love with the individual rigor of the sport and reliance on a strong will and positive mindset. After my third meet of the season, I qualified for the MIAA Division IV State Championship, where I ran my PR for the season. I also came in third place in the Western Massachusetts Championship Meet. Despite having only a little over a year of track experience, I am an open-minded athlete who is always willing to learn and grow my capabilities.
