Hi! I'm Annie and I am currently a junior in high school. I started running track in my 8th-grade year and have loved it since then. Track and running overall was never really something I was super interested in before I figured out that my school had a track team but over time I have grown to not only love the sprinting aspect of track but also the long-distance side. Track practices and meets have always been my favorite part of the day not only because I get to see and show others what I can do but I also get to see my friends and teammates compete and grow as athletes as well. This upcoming season will be harder for me due to injuries but that won't stop me from finding other ways to better myself fro track even if I won't be able to run.
