My long term goal is to work for a professional sports team as a conditioning coach. First I want to gain experience by becoming a recreational/physical therapist. I enjoy sports and I excel in volleyball and track. My first love is volleyball but I run to stay in shape.I have been enjoying volleyball since fourth grade and track since sixth grade. I am a middle distance runner that also has a spot on the 4x1 and 4x4 relays. I have qualified and attended many AAU Junior Olympic competitions. Recently my focus has been more toward volleyball. I am in the midst of my second year of travel club. However, this is my third year on an AAU volleyball team. Before Club Xtreme I played for The High Velocity Hurricanes in Canton, MI. Now, I play Defensive Specialist/Libero for Club Xtreme Athletics in Detroit, MI. Since my freshman year I have been an integral part of the varsity team at UPSM high school. This year is the third consecutive year that my high school team is MMAC Champions (Michigan Metro Athletic Conference: Metro Detroit). I am now a Junior and captain of my high school team. I would like to attend a school that offers me the flexibility to continue to grow and showcase my abilities as a volleyball player while I am earning a degree in Physical Therapy/Sports Medicine. I want to be on a team where I feel I am needed and can make a difference.
