Kylee Dobbelaere '12 Recruiting Profile

My name is Kylee Dobbelaere, and throwing is my passion. I'm the type of athlete who will be the first one out to the discus ring and the last one to leave. I spend my nice weekend days at the track and I'm so impatient in the winter time that I go and shovel off the ring. I personally think that stats don't tell the whole story about an athlete. In my case I'm a very talented thrower and my stats don't show it. My throws win meets, but I know what I'm capable of throwing and it's farther than 119 feet. I attended the Michigan State track camp for two years and this past year I threw my personal bests in the discus of 140 feet and in the shotput with 37 feet. It was a very benficial camp and I actually got to prove to people what I'm capable of.
For college I'm looking for the next step, I want to be noticed and become the best of my ability. I've had offers from Division 1's and 2's, but my choice is still undecided. I'm a very easy person to get along with, I'm a leader, and I can learn quick. I've worked hundreds of hours to achieve my goal, and I hope you are impressed with what you know so far. Thanks
