Personal Statement
I am a homeschool student, and I enjoy running. I like to run longer distances such as marathons and half marathons, but also enjoy the 5k and 10k distances. I am not currently running for a high school team but train and run in many races on my own. The CRIM 10 mile road race, Grand Rapids Metro Health Marathon, and the Borgess Kalamazoo Marathon include some that I have run in. I plan on running in the Boston Marathon in 2020 when I am eighteen, since I have passed by qualifying time by twenty-three minutes. I thoroughly enjoy running and would love to continue in college!
