Lauren Kowarsch '26 Recruiting Profile

Hello, may name is Lauren and I am a junior at Chisago Lakes High School in Minnesota.  I have ran varsity since 7th grade for both cross country and track & field.  Our cross country races are mainly 5000m.  On our track team, I specialize in the 3200m, 1600m and 4x800m relay, but also run the 800m and 400m.  In the fall of 2022, our girls cross country team made it to the State meet as a team.... the first time in our school's HISTORY:). In the spring of 2024, our track & field team placed 2nd at the True Team State meet where I ran 3 events (4x800 relay, 3200m, 400m)!!!  We were crowned conference champs and also made it to State again as a team in cross country this past fall.  It has been such a fun ride and amazing experience!  Running is definitely my passion and is such a good outlet for me.
