Hello! My name is kara oberfell and I am currently a freshman at ndsu. I ended my senior season of track improving in every single one of my events and was ranked 6th in the shotput going into the section meet. I thought going into college that’s how I wanted to leave my track career but after months of debating I’ve decided I want to play in college and see just how much more I can improve. I’m a straight A student and I’ve very committed to both my academics and sports. I’ve spent a lot of time in the weight room preparing for track and maintaining my strength. My best squat recorded is 295 and my best bench recorded is 170. I know now that I belong on a team and I can’t wait to work hard and get back to throwing.
