Chinyere Jones '15 Recruiting Profile

Hello, My name is Chinyere Dalia Jones and all my life I have had aspirations to be an athlete. Not until 7th grade I discovered my strong passion for track. After running school track I decided to run summer track, and absolutely fell in love with the sport and wanted to become an All- American. Which leads me to my goals in my senior year in high school and my goals in college track. I aspire to be an All- American in USATF and in college. Each year I have gotten better, stronger, and more passionate in track. Even in 9th grade as a freshman and new to high school track I was not intimidated nor less determined, yet looked to the older girls and coaches for ways to enhance my running abilities. Although the 800m dash and the 4x400m run being my main events, I am also really good in the 1500m run, the 400m dash, high jump, and long jump. I believe I could be a great asset to any college track team through my running abilities, determination, and leadership. I would love love love to compete in college, and show everybody how great I know I could be!
