Morgan Choate '16 Recruiting Profile

Hello, My name is Morgan Choate, I want to go to college to become a Physical Therapist and also play sports along the way, sports mean the world to me they let me escape the problems I have and struggles I face in life, this is why I want to pursue sports the college level. I started track my 7th grade year and I fell in love with the one thing that most are scared to do which is hurdling, I fell in love with hurdling because there is always something to get better at like your form or your steps. Over the years it became my passion and drive. I just kept improving and improving and this then lead me to face the decision, "Am I really ready to give this all up?". I thought long and hard about this when I was sitting on the side lines with a sprained hamstring, when the event that I ran started I got so mad at myself for getting hurt and not being out there by scoring points and placing in the meet, from that day forth I made the decision that I wanted to continue this through college. So trained and I got better,  and I competed and I am now determined to make my goals a reality.
