Megan Prestia '25 Recruiting Profile

Since sixth grade, pole vaulting has been my passion. As a high school student at Grain Valley High School in the Kansas City area, I’ve dedicated myself to both pole vaulting and academics. With a 3.7 GPA, I’ve learned the importance of discipline and time management, balancing my studies with my athletic pursuits. My current pole vault personal record stands at 10’ 6", but this year, I’m aiming even higher—my goal is to soar over the bar at 12 feet. Beyond the track, I also play varsity tennis, honing my skills and contributing to our team’s success. Additionally, I’m actively involved in my church, leading small groups and volunteering in the young children’s ministry. And when I’m not training or studying, you’ll find me dreaming of the ocean and creating memories on family vacations.
