Dear Coaches,
Looking ahead to my college years I want to be in a school that will push me to be the best I can be in sports and in academics. I strive to be a smart, determined and respectful person. Most of all I pride myself in being hard working. This has not only impacted my times but I believe it has a positive impact on my team.
In my freshman year I placed 6th in the 800m dash at state, my sophomore year I placed 4th and my junior year I won state champ. My 4 by 400m team placed 2nd at state my sophomore year. My junior year we placed 4th, with me running a 59 split on the first leg. I have gone to state in cross-country my freshman, sophomore and junior years. Although triathlons are not a school sport, I have been racing in them since I was in 8th grade. In a X-Terra triathlon (an international off road triathlon) I placed 3rd over all the women. I am also in the top choir at my school (there are five choirs each with about 40 to 60 students) and I play 1st flute in band. I have also been on the honor roll six consecutive semesters.
