Personal Statement
My name is Kara Tschida and I am and have been a track and field athlete for most of my life, and I can truly say it is one of the highlights to these past years. I have a background in sprinting and hurdling, but following my Sophomore year indoor season I made the decision to pursue distance running, where I found an unmatched passion. I am extremely self driven and determined to improve and bring my team up with me. I take leadership roles in all of my teams and between athletics and academics I have become excellent at time management with a GPA of 4.2 and taking numerous AP, Honors, and Running Start classes. All of this to say I am devoted to continuing to further my track and field career and excel both on the track and in school.
