Personal Statement

I started track in 7th grade and immediately developed a strong passion for track and field. I was a gymnast from when I was two years old to my freshmen year of high school. Gymnastics taught me how to be self disciplined, determined, and to be apart of a team. Being a gymnast for 13 years made me realize how gymnastics is similar to track in many different ways. Proper nutrition and exercise has always been important to me throughout my life because I strongly believe in trying to become the best version of yourself you can be. I find the sport very rewarding seeing as you get as much as you put into the sport, and you can see your progression in results. The adrenaline I get before a start a race or compete a jump is the best feeling in the world and I would hate for that to go away after high school.

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
