My collegiate goals and aspirations are educational and physical. I wish to pursue a masters degree of computer science, with a minor in art and possibly Japanese. Sports wise, I plan to have my times decrease greatly with hard work, and aspire to achieve excellent times for the school I go to. I would be a good candidate for a team because I am hard working, especially during practices. My high school coaches have told me over and over again, "Hard practices for easy meets," and that statement always helps me push myself so that I can improve. I also like to push my team mates to improve as well because it challenges them, and improves the team as a whole. I differentiate from other recruits in character because I am very ambitious with what I want to achieve. I'm determined to drop my times, and hold a positive mind set throughout my workouts and meets. For athletics, I have a great amount of endurance and can push myself through anything. I practice proper form while running, and always try to challenge myself. I also always try to show good sportsmanship by encouraging fellow team mates, congratulating girls on other teams, and even helping my team mates stand after some workouts. Academically I have gotten grades between 89-100, with most grades at 93 and above. I am in various honor societies, and have a 4.2 GPA. Just like with sports, I like to challenge myself academically, always aiming high.
