Just a girl and h...Personal Statement
Hi, my name is Alyssa Valentin and I aspire to be an environmental engineer. I hope to discover a school that will assist me in achieving that goal, as well as support my love for throwing in track and field events. I have been involved in sports for as long as I can remember and I only started throwing my sophomore year! Sadly my first outdoor season was not until 2021 but I absolutely fell in love with throwing from the beginning. Now I am the Varsity Captain of my High School team and I do not plan to stop throwing any time soon. My personality and work ethic make me an excellent candidate for any team. Both academically and athletically, my leadership skills, determination, and adaptability help me to overcome and succeed. These traits combined with my coachability make me a standout candidate for any school. I am really looking forward to working with a school who wants to support my dreams!
