I have never done any kind of sport what so ever before high school. I joined track freshman year just as something to do. I got injured very easily and wasn’t able to run freshman year but I still enjoyed being on the team. Sophomore year I trained harder and was in better shape but still wasn’t able to perform very well. At this point I totally fell in love with track and made goals for myself. The summer before junior year I started training with the Trenton track club and going to a strength coach. Junior year I really broke out and performed very well but still not as well as I had hoped due to a hamstring injury. This summer and fall I have been training harder than I have ever trained and have learned so much from the coaches I’ve been surrounded by. My goal is to run at the D1 level. Im confident that this year I’m going to drop some huge times and shock everyone. My goals are 11.8, 24.5 and 56.
