Motivation, Dedication, Consistency, Persistence. All words to describe my track career thus far between 4th-11th grade. Although it has not always been an easy journey it taught lots of lessons for me now. In the future my goal is to be the greatest athlete I can be. I want to grow through the college program and grow confidence in myself. Also inspire others that injuries don't have to hold you down forever. It is not about how you fall it is about whether you chose to stay down or get up. With injuries in the past it made track difficult. Not just physically but mentally. When you dont see the progress right away PR's every couple of meets it gets discouraging. But through this I learned to never give up. A PR will not happen all the time and when it does be grateful. From sophomore year running a 29.04 200 meter dash to now running a 27.65 showed myself how amazing I can be if I stay in the MDCP mindset (motivation, dedication, consistency and persistence. This showed me that I can be the great athlete I want to be. I believe I can be a great candidate for your team because of this mindset. It cannot only help me but others. I am also open to correction and help on how to be the best I can. Lastly, I am hard working and I will achieve what needs to be done. Success does not just come from words it comes through actions.
