Selena Ertell-Easley '24 Recruiting Profile

What makes me different from other recruits is...I want to achieve great success and create a dynasty and great success for my school. I want to strive for greatness and put 100% of myself into track. I have a strong sense of self discipline, unselfishness, and I put my school & my teammates first, and drive for my school and my teammates. I would do anything to not put a burden on that and that is including my academics. I have strong perseverance. Before track I was lost and confused, didnt know what to do with myself before I fell in love with track, when it became apart of me I had more of a clear picture of what I wanted to do and that's all I needed since I joined. I went from getting F's to breaking personal records and getting A's in classes all in my first season. I started off thinking I couldnt do this and thanks to my coaches, friends, and family I know what I want to do and no one is going to stop me from doing it.
