2022 Highlights Personal Statement
Running is my passion and I want to further that passion through a track and cross country career in college. If I want to achieve something, I work as hard as I possibly can until I do. Becoming a school record holder and a four time state champion did not come easily for me. In 2018, I placed 68th at the New Mexico Cross Country 5A State Championships. Just three years later, due to better and smarter training, hard work, dedication, and focus, I earned my title of New Mexico Cross Country 5A State Champion. I truly love working hard and running fast, and I'm excited to find a program that fits my drive and passion.
Please note that living in New Mexico means all of my races are at elevation. My times have all been run at 4,500 to 9,000 feet of elevation.
